Kimberly M.J. Sims

Kimberly Sims has represented property owners, property management, and landlords for her entire 20+ year legal career. Ms. Sims attempts to resolve disputes before they escalate into litigation and implements practical solutions to avoid litigation when possible. But when it’s not possible, she aggressively pursues her clients’ claims and defends their interests in litigation. She represents commercial, retail, and muti-family owners and managers in lease disputes, evictions, eviction appeals, right of reentry and repair and remedy cases, commercial lockouts, tenant bankruptcies, and government investigations and actions, including fair housing and discrimination complaints.

Kimberly was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyers in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, appearing in Texas Monthly/Law and Politics Magazine and was designated a Texas Super Lawyer in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
