The bankruptcy process can be incredibly frustrating for creditors.   Our lawyers can assist creditor clients’ efforts to resolve matters without litigation, but are prepared to pursue the claims through bankruptcy if it becomes necessary.

We represent business owners and lenders in enforcing their rights and navigating the bankruptcy process.  From filing claims, monitoring cases, seeking relief from stay and prosecuting and defending adversary proceedings, we ensure that our clients understand and maintain their rights after a bankruptcy case is filed.  We also seek to enforce secured creditors’ lien rights and avoid debtor discharge where fraud or other abuse has occurred.

And because commercial bankruptcy proceedings inevitably venture into other areas of corporate and business law, and involve complicated financial analysis, our lawyers’ business and accounting litigation experience is an asset when handling claims in bankruptcy.

Licensed in the four districts in Texas with our office between the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas, we have successfully prosecuted and defended adversary actions and appeal of those actions through determination in the Fifth Circuit.
